Burt, the Crocodile dies at 90 years old

Burt the Crocodile is famous for his role in Crocodile Dundee. The 15 ft reptile lived at the Australian crocodile park, Crocosaurus Cove.
He was captured at Reynolds River in the 1980s. He starred in the 1986 movie Crocodile Dundee along with Paul Hogan.
Since then he has lived at Crocosaurus Cove, where he impressed and educated the public about crocodiles.
The park plans to install a commemorative sign to celebrate his life.

Burt was impressive. Fifteen feet! His size alone surprised us. If we didn't understand and respect Australian wildlife before Burt, we certainly did after seeing him.
He will be missed by those who worked with him. Ninety years is a good long life. RIP Burt.
