102 snakes removed from an Australian back yard
#1
A home owner in Sydney called a reptile rescue group because of a couple of snakes in their back yard.
They turned out to be Red Bellied Black Snakes, a small venomous snake. Some of the females gave birth as they were being removed. In
the end, there were 102 snakes. There were five adults and 97 babies. That is a record number in a day for the rescue.
They will be released to the wild when the weather cools. Because of the number, they will be released into a national park.

That is amazing. I never even find one snake in my yard. They had 102 and they even gave birth right there in the yard.
The snakes picked that yard as a birthing site. What an honour.
I am glad they were able to rescue them all.
I am sure they will do fine once they are released.
