It is that special day when we celebrate our closest living cousins, the Chimpanzees.
It is the anniversary of Jane Goodall arriving in Tanzania to study Chimpanzees.

That was 65 years ago. We have learned so much since then.
We owe a lot to Jane Goodall. She looked at Chimpanzees with an open mind and learned what they were really like.
Her work continues to this day.
