It is World Honey Bee day and we should be celebrating our Bee friends and we should be concerned for them.

We have made it more difficult for bees. Both wild bees and honey bees have a hard time surviving because of our pesticide use and our lack of pollinator friendly plants. We need honey bees to pollinate our crops. The least we can do is stop poisoning them. Just say no to pesticides. When you are going to plant, choose pollinator friendly plants. Choose plants that will seed themselves and your planting efforts will spread further and help more bees. Don't worry, the bees will pollinate the flowers and create even more seeds. They just need a little help.
