Humpback Whale stranded in the Baltic Sea
#1
A Humpback Whale has been stranded in the Baltic sea. He has been stranded for weeks and is doing poorly.
Rescuers have used excavators to dig a channel for him, but it isn't working. They want to float him on airbags to get him to the North sea and farther.
They don't want to give up while he is still alive.

I don't know if they can save the whale, but they have definitely been trying. Just digging a channel was an incredible effort to save him.
I hope the rescue works and the whale survives. If not, they at least tried.

They have not given up on the whale. They have managed to get him into a barge.

Then the barge has set out for the North Sea.

Timmy has made it so far.

I know they are concerned for his health, but at least they have tried to save him.
He could still survive.

Sad news, in spite of everything that was done, Timmy has been found dead.

We can at least know that humans tried to make it right.
It is not confirmed yet why he died. It could have to do with humans disrupting the oceans so much. Smiley19
