Golden retriever puppy takes over cat tower, cat is not amused

A golden retriever puppy discovers the cat tower. After looking it over, it climbs inside and takes over the bed. The cat is not amused and expresses his feelings with swats from above. The dog just makes itself more at home. In the end they work it out.

It is a big cat tower. The golden retriever puppy takes over the lower bed, but the cat still has the upper bed to himself.
There is plenty of room for both of them. I predict that the cat will end up sleeping with the puppy.
I wonder what will happen when the dog gets  bigger. Will it still be able to use the bed? If not, he is going to look so sad, sitting there looking at the bed he has outgrown.
