Kiwis make a comeback in nations capitol
#1
Kiwis once numbered over 12 million. Now there are 70,000. It has been 100 years since they were seen in the nations capitol.
Conservation efforts have been preparing for their return. Seven birds were released in the capitol one night.

This bird is so important to the spirit of the country, people cried when they were released. Returning the kiwi means a lot. This project really matters.
Every effort is being made to ensure it works. Healing our lands and restoring our iconic local wildlife is something we all need to do.
I wish New Zealand every success with this.
