Tyrannosaurus Chicken!

Well, guess what I learned today?
That chickens are the closest living relative to Tyrannosaurus Rex.

I knew about the bird/dinosaur link, but not the TRex/chicken link. I think we might want to treat chickens better in future. Who knows what supper strengths they might still have. What if chickens evolve back? We might wish we had been kinder.

There is definitely more to the average bird than we thought.
Either that or dinosaurs are a bit different then we thought.

Well....when I see Herons out on the moors where I live, and particularly when I see them take off and do a flypast, I am definitely reminded of Pterodactyls.
Birds are secret agents it seems.

We have dinosaurs living secretly among us and we never knew.
The world is more complicated than we thought. I know dinosaurs are very different from the old ideas of them.
Cave men are very different too. We thought Neanderthals were extinct, but it turns out we all have some Neanderthal DNA.

They always talk about Chimps being 98% the same as human DNA.
I saw a sign that showed a human and said 98% Chimp DNA.

If we can accept that then we can accept a Tyrannosaurus chicken.

Maybe I could open a dinochicken theme park and my chickens can start paying their way, lol!!
My chickens are spoiled rotten and actually they already are paying their way. The keep the bug population down so my garden will thrive.

Interesting that you have working dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs are a big deal these days. Look how the Jurassic park movies have done.
Maybe a theme park wouldn't be such a bad idea. I am sure people would pay to se a tyrannosaurus chicken.
I wonder if any other animals have an interesting ancestry.
You could have a whole set of theme park ideas.
