Man finds snake in recycling bin

Why do these things never happen to me.
A man found an adult corn snake in his recycling bin. Someone must have put it there. Of course it may have escaped and thought the bin was a safe place to sleep.

It is a lovely little snake and if they can't find the owner I am sure someone would want him. The guy who found him seemed interested.

Maybe someone didn't just dump the Corn snake in the recycling. Maybe he got loose and was trying to find some shelter or a den-site for the winter....he must have been cold in there though.

You are right, the snake probably did get loose. If you are not careful corn snakes get out. Mine come and get me or at least come out when I look for them them.
The bin might have seemed like a safe place. It would have been cold for him outside, but the shelter of the bin would have helped.

If no one comes forward he can be adopted. Maybe the guy who found him should take him in. After all, the snake was found on his doorstep.
