It seems everything to do with pets is going high tech.

The idea is that you can play with a shelter animal online using a remote controlled toy.

It could be fun. It also could solve the problem of pets left at home. If you could set the system up for you own pet you could take a pet play break during the day.

I actually think this is a great idea. What could happen is the person paying with the animal could start to feel some bond with it. I think that is bound to happen. It might help with adoptions....

Technology does give some interesting opportunities.

I hadn't thought of the adoption angle. Of course that would be the point of it. You could get to know a pet and bond before bringing it home. It would be great.

If it can be done, I am sure they will do it.
I could get an app for my phone. Instead of some silly game, I could play with a shelter pet. It has great possibilities.
