200 dogs rescued from hoarder
#3
Quote:Sometimes there are cases of animal hoarders who, in their own minds are trying to run a 'rescue' but get out of their depth. But if they really cared, the health and safety of their charges must come first.

I think a lot of times this is the problem. People think that they are the only ones who can rescue animals. They don't want to let them go to other people. They think no one else will care for them properly. Once it gets out of hand the animals no longer get cleaned, fed or given water. After that it is a 200 dog disaster.

How can she think that she should get then back? She has proven unable to care for the dogs. I wonder if she does not realize what condition the dogs are in. People can be blind about things like that.
