Donations pour in for "taped up" cat.

Sadly a cat was found with its legs tightly bound with electrical tape. The Regina Humane Society started a gofundme campaign. The needed about 5000 dollars to cover the cost of trying to save the cats legs. More than double that has come in and the funds are most welcome. The injured cat can be helped and many more.

Sadly the cat may still lose a leg, but he is safe and will be adopted to a loving home when he recovers.
You have to love the generosity of people who want to help in any way they can. They make medical treatment possible for many injured and abused animals.

Yes, that is wonderful. I am delighted that this poor cat will receive help, as well as others, as the result of the generosity of donors.

But what of the human(s) who did this horrific tight taping of the cat's legs? What does that say about that person (or those persons)?

If we humans all were like the people who have been helping this cat and others, and there were no people like those who perpetrated this crime, what a wonderful world we could have....

Poor little thing! This is so very sad. I am glad so many people have raised so much for him in only a few days. I hope he will be okay.

They have not found the person who did this, but hopefully they will. Someone will know who did it or the person will post pictures on Facebook. It is only a matter of time.

This is a more recent article.

It is amazing how much money has been raised. It can all be used to help animals in need. People are still giving even though the goal has been met.
Sadly the cat has lost many toes, but they are not sure about the legs yet. If they have to they will be amputated. In that case the money would help pay for prosthetic limbs. He is one lucky cat to even be alive.
I will let you know as soon as they catch the guy.

I found a video of Bruce and he is a sweet cat.

If they can save his legs they will. They are giving him the best of care.
Now I hope they find who ever did this.
