39 rescued animals taken back to the jungle
#1
This is so moving. 39 ex-circus animals were rescued by Animal Defenders International liaising with Peruvian authorities. They were then flown 600 miles by the Peruvian air force, and taken down the Amazon by the Navy.
They are now re-located in a jungle sanctuary. Some may be eligible for return to the wild.

This is such wonderful news. For those 39 animals life now holds promise. I hope that some can be returned to the wild, but even if they can't they can still have good lives.
I hope many more animals can be rescued.

It was beautiful watching them come out of the carriers. They seemed to know that life is better for them.

ADI does some wonderful work. This is a good example of what it does to help circus animals.

ADI is a very good group. Hopefully one day there will be no more circus animals to return to the wild and no more circuses using animals. I
I personally do not like the idea of performing animals. Where is the entertainment in an animal being forced to do some silly action. It was more entertaining to watch the animals adjust to their new freer lives.
