Rescuing the animal victims in Nepal
#1
I knew there had to be teams of people working to save animals in the aftermath of the Nepal earthquake. The Humane Society International has been able to get teams in there to help with the rescue efforts.

I am always relieved and happy to hear that our animal friends are not forgotten during a disaster.

Thank you for posting this. I was also wondering but had heard nothing about it on the radio news. I am glad the animals haven't been forgotten.

No mention was made in the news about animals being pulled from the rubble, but clearly many animals were rescued.

I think we can assume that some help for animals always makes into a disaster zone. It just takes a while for the news to reach us. I assume there were HSI teams not to far away. They are working on other issues in that part of the world.
