It IS possible someone put them up there for the photoshoot....
Big dogs are more than happy to 'muzzle-surf' (grabbing any eatables as they vacuum their way along!) but jumping up there?....Well maybe.

I don't know how the dogs got up on the counters, but they do look comfortable. I am sure anything is possible.
Maybe they did get the idea from the family cat.
