Jake the Dog

Jake the dog is a stray in Newfoundland who was found to have a serious ear problem.  He would have been in constant pain.

It took some fundraising because the surgery is expensive. Newfoundland only has one vet, but she was happy to do the surgery.  So Jake the dog was helped.

The surgery left him totally deaf, but pain free. There is already a family waiting to take him home.

Jake is a beautiful loving dog and I am glad he has been given a chance at a good life. He lost his hearing. but he couldn't hear in his condition anyhow.

Jake is such a beautiful lovely dog. I am glad the vet did this for him, so he is no longer in pain.

It is truly amazing how dogs will still often show the best side of themselves even though suffering. They are amazing beings!

Jake  was clearly a happy loving dog even when he wasn't well.

I am sure his new family is very happy to have Jake and I am sure Jake loves them very much already.
