Baby Pandas get names, meet the Prime Minister

For little bear cubs they have had busy lives so far.
They got to meet the Prime Minister of Canada.

Maybe it is the Prime Minister that got to meet the Panda cubs.

Either way, they are so cute and doing so well.

I voted for their possible names, but I have no idea which names I voted for.

It is great that both twins survived and even better that they are  boy and a girl.

I saw an item about this on the news here, a few days ago.
I couldn't begin to pronounce the Chinese names but the news reader said they translated as "Canadian Hope" and "Canadian Joy".
I can't think of more appropriate names!
Here's hoping they thrive.

They are doing very well so far. It took a team of people working day and night, but both babies are healthy and strong.


They are so cute aren't they. I should be able to go to the zoo and see them in the next few weeks. This weekend I am too busy and there will be crowds. We all love Pandas.
