What a horrible thing to do to a gentle sea cow. There is no limit to some people's lack of decency and compassion.

I am glad that she is free now. It makes you wonder if other animals are being held in similar conditions.

Animals really do need all of us watching out for them.

I wonder how they caged them. Sea cows are air breathers and even though they are capable of staying below the surface for long times they must return to the surface to breath.
Such treatment of these gentle creatures is heinous in the highest degree.
I despair of mankind sometimes!

Some person will get a crazy idea like that, but many other people must have paid to see the poor creature.

I wondered about the air breathing issue, but I think the pen is in shallow water and the animals can just reach air. It would be very scary for an air breather to be caged like that.
