Armani pledges to go fur free

I think the pressure will be on to go cruelty free. The big victory will come when the big fashion weeks declare that they only accept cruelty free fashions. The designers that insist on using fur will find themselves boycotted.  It would be a big victory if all the people buying fashions for the big events like the Oscars declare that they will only buy from designers who do not use fur.

I think we are seeing a trend that will continue to grow.

When I look at a fur coat I don't see luxury or extravagance, I see dead animals who suffered all their lives before being cruelly killed for their skin.
A woman standing next to me in the line at the Ballet had a snake skin purse. You could see it was a python. All I could see was a beautiful snake who died horribly so she could have a purse. I wanted to say to her "the difference between your python and mine, is that my python is still alive". 
It is only a matter of time before I start saying things to people. I just need to find the right words that will reach them.
