I am sure you all remember signing petitions to get Arturo the polar bear moved to better conditions. Sadly the Mendoza zoo in Argentina refused to move him. He died alone and unhappy at the age of thirty.

At least, sad as his death is, it is an end to his even sadder life.
The zoo is rehoming all its animals and sending them to better place. If only Arturo could have had even a short time in a better place.
We can only hope that his spirit runs free and wild and knows peace for the first time.
