Airbnb for pets

There is a new idea in China for pet owners who have to travel. It is an online service that pairs pets with those nearby who can care for them.
It is becoming a popular option for those times when pet owners need to travel.

Given the limited possibilities for safe pet care  in China, this seems to be working very well.

I know people who have used Airbnb for themselves and are happy with the idea. I wonder if this will catch on for pets in other countries than China. It is really just the idea of having someone pet sit for you. Usually you would know someone who will look after your pet. In big cities it is harder to find someone. The service is used to connect you with the pet sitter.

It could work as long as they screen the person who cares for the pet to make sure they are okay.
