Trust fund pets
#1
Some people with money are able to set up trust funds for their pets to cover their care after they die. If there is no one to take the pet it can still end up at a shelter. When the pet is adopted, it comes with a trust fund that pays for its care.

I can see how that would help the pet since its care is being paid for. It also helps a low income pet owner. They can get a pet because it comes with its care paid for. I wonder if there are many pets out there with trust funds?

I have never heard of a pet with a trust fund at any shelter I know. I wonder if this is a new thing that is not common yet.
So far nothing I have adopted comes with a trust fund. All they come with is a big appetite, especially the guinea pigs. Smiley4
