Coyote stuck in the bumper after being hit

A woman hit a coyote with her car and assumed it was dead and drove off without checking. The coyote was stuck in her bumper and it was still very much alive.

That poor coyote travelled all that way stuck in the front of the car that hit it. It must have been a frightening trip. 
When you hit an animal you really should check to be sure it is dead and not just needing help. In this case the animal needed help to get free. It would have been terrible if the coyote  had come free while traveling down the highway.

I am glad that the right people were called and the coyote was saved and returned to the wild.
