Pet food bank keeps pets at home in hard times
#1
The Upper Room Hospitality Ministry Food Bank with the help of PEI Humane Society are keeping pet food dishes full for people in need. They recognize that people who are going through hard times need their pets. The love and acceptance that a pet gives are very important when times are tough.

The PEI Humane Society provides the food and the Upper Room gives it to the people they see who have trouble feeding their pets.

It is always good to know that when people are in need there are people helping them. Even more important is the recognition that pets are a very important part of people's lives. They are not a luxury item to be given up when money is scarce. Pets are important to our sense of well being. They are family and we need them.  Well done both groups for recognizing this and helping people.

It is a wonderful thing that they are doing. Bless them.
Let's also hope that there are good charitable resources for those same people when it comes to their animals' health care.

There are always good people doing the right thing. When you give like these people are doing it will come back to them in a good way.
I am happy to hear that people will not have to give up their pets just because they are having hard times.
