Earth Hour 2018

It is that time of year again. We are asked to turn out the lights for just one hour. One hour out of 8760 we are asked to slow down and think about the earth. I don't think that is asking too much.

It might be good to use the hour to reflect on what more we can do for our planet. Even if we just renew our commitment to continue to do the good things we are already doing, that would be enough. I need to work on my commitment to use less plastic. I am a faithful recycler, but what if I could cut back on the plastic itself in my life. I am sure I can do better if I think about it.
