I am always happy when I come across a story like this. Dogs in places that are over populated by strays are being given a chance in places that need and want dogs. No dog should ever be killed again because of over crowding in a shelter. It is always possible to transport the dogs to where they are wanted.

This is not the first time that Colorado has taken dogs from other places. They are doing a lot of good work finding homes for dogs.
I love the names of the groups involved. "Dog is My Copilot" and "From Forgotten to Forever Rescue and Transport" organized the project. Once in Colorado a number of rescue groups will be finding homes for the dogs.
This is such a hopeful event. In time we can end the massive euthanizations of previous generations. We are creative enough to find ways to do better.
