There is a thriving trade in giraffe parts and things made from giraffe parts in the USA in spite of the fact that giraffe numbers are declining alarmingly.

It is horrible to think that so many giraffes are dying to make such tacky souvenirs. Who would buy something like that. Who would buy a stuffed baby giraffe. It's a baby. What kind of person wants to be part of the killing of a baby anything. Giraffes are so harmless. What sort of monster killed the baby. Did they kill the mother too.
This is an alarming trend and it makes you wonder what other animals are being turned into tourist junk. No one needs a giraffe bible cover.
