Endangered Nuthatch spotted
#1
The Bahama Nuthatch was thought to be extinct after Hurricane Matthew in 2016. There have been no sightings, until now that is. Researchers from the University of East Angila have confirmed a sighting. It is not known what the numbers are or the ratio of males to females or the age of the birds. The important thing is that they have been spotted.

There is hope that the species will survive and there is hope for other species that have not been spotted.
I know the passenger pigeon is long gone, but there are other birds that we are not sure of. They are not confirmed as extinct or surviving. We can hope they are surviving.
