Meet Oscar my new pet
#11
I am proud of my little Oscar. He had a perfect shed. I am surprized at how much bigger he looks. His colour is better. I will try get pictures. I may have to give him a bigger set up soon. My baby is growing up.Heart

Funny thing, no one wants to meet him in person. I can't understand it. He is really very nice. Really.

I asked a more tarantula experienced person and it seems that they do grow quite a bit with each shed. So I am not imagining that he is much bigger, he is much bigger. I think it is time for the bigger set up. Then I should be able to get pictures. He is in a plastic jar about the size of a cup. It is nicely set up for him, but it is tiny. The new set up will be 4-5 times that size. I have another one twice that size and if he ends up outgrowing that I can give him a small tank. I have 2 1/2 gal, 5 gal and 10 gal. Whatever size he gets to be, I am ready for it.
