These are some other nature documentaries i have seen.

The first and second is about the evolution of life, very interesting. They cover the story of both extinct and modern animals.

3. The Private Life of Plants

These are the documentaries i have seen which is for humans. 

1. Human Planet

I don't really attempt to see documentaries about humans Smiley4 but among the few human documentaries i saw, i would recommend 'Human Planet'. It was awesome, they show how humans survive in different places like arctic, deserts, mountains, jungles etc etc and so on. 


My favorite documentaries are David Attenborough's Natural History Museum Alive, Life on Earth, Planet Earth, Prehistoric Park, Planet Dinosaur and Walking with Beasts.

WOW!!!
You have watched a lot of documentaries. I have seen some of them, but there are a fair number that I haven't even heard of.
It is very helpful that you separated them into different categories. I really want to watch the wooly mammoth special.  Actually I am seeing three different movies about mammoths.  Now all I need is the time off to watch them.

I like the David Attenborough shows. They are always very well done. 
I want to see the Private Life of Plants. I have a special  bond with plants.
I am curious to see what the Ballad of Big Al is about.

Thank-you for compiling this list. I am sure we are all going to be checking it to fine movies we want to watch.

I think i have not seen enough documentaries. Big Grin Last time you said i can make a post about it and there it is.. 
Sure the greatest Sir David Attenborough shows will be well done because he is obviously the best wildlife presenter ever and he is my favorite.

You have given us an amazing list to shows to watch. I need the rest of the winter off so I can catch up on my viewing..
Sir David is a special favourite of all of us. You have to respect his work. It is so well done.

There are other good documentaries on the list too. I would love  to see them all.
