The largest Badger cull ever.

The 20018  badger cull killed more than 30,000 animals. The best they can say is that there is a small reduction in TB transmission. Badgers are not the real problem. Killing them is not the real solution.

Proper handling of infected cattle and better record keeping along with a vaccination program would be more effective.
It would also be much cheaper.  However scapegoating is much easier.
It would be very sad if the badgers became extinct in some of their traditional territories because of a mistaken idea that killing them could stop TB.
