Stray dog climbs Himalayan Mountain.

A stray dog in Nepal got involved with a group climbing a Himalayan mountain. She followed them on the climb and became the first dog to reach the summit. It wasn't actually an Everest Climb, but it was still pretty high.

Stray dogs in Nepal are not well treated because of a fear of rabies. This dog gained the respect of the guides and climbers. 
She has since been adopted by the expeditions base camp manager. 

This is not the first time a dog has joined people in their endeavors. Not long ago, Gobi the dog, joined a marathon runner in the Gobi desert. These are clever dogs. They are joining humans and creating bonds that ultimately lead to a permanent home.
