Badger Cull: 100,000 dead, 60million pounds spent
#1
The controversial Badger cull has now resulted in over 100,000 dead badgers at a cost of 60 million pounds.
Bovine TB has not been eradicated and cows are still being slaughtered because of it. The cull is cruel, unsuccessful and expensive.
Isn't it time for other methods like cattle vaccination and badger vaccination. To continue with the badger cull is cruel and ineffective.

This cull has gone on for years and it clearly isn't working. If it worked there would be a tremendous drop in bovine TD. That hasn't happened. How long will we persist in something that doesn't work and doesn't help. Surely common sense will prevail and the cull will be stopped. The badgers are a normal part of the ecosystems in Britain. Who knows what would happen if they were wiped out. They may play a more vital role that we realize.  This needs to be stopped while there are still some badgers left alive.
