On May 20 a kitten was born with two faces. It is a very rare occurrence and they seldom last more than a day. They called the kitten Biscuits and Gravy and gave him the best of care. Sadly even with hand feeding the kitten failed to grow and died after 4 days. At least the kitten had 4 days of being loved.

Two headed and two faced animals are very rare and they seldom live long. There was a two faced cat that lasted 15 years. A very caring person nurtured that cat and kept him going all those years.

It is interesting to read how this happens. It is a slight error in development of the fetus that leads to catastrophic results. The real amazing thing is that most babies of any species are born normal. It seems that there is so much that could go wrong.
