Yes, the voluntary donation program is obviously better than the abuse that would take place otherwise.
All that is needed is a dog who is happy with the procedure, and isn't afraid of going to the vet.....and some give-away on the part of that vet clinic (free check up, free worming, etc) as a thank-you.
A little off-topic, but one thing I know nothing about is canine blood grouping. Are they like us, with a number of different blood groups?
