I have never heard of some of these myths, but the pictures are interesting.

Awww! I was so sure it was Fairies who made Fairy Rings!

But ours in Britain look a little more Fairy-like, I have to say. They are usually rings of mushrooms or toadstools with very green grass underneath them. There is always a tiny 'gateway' in (where there is a gap in the ring.)

That little shark looks quite cute!

Our Fairy Rings are caused by mushrooms. I just assume that fairies like mushrooms.
We don't have drunk wallabies, but sometimes the fruit on the trees ferments and we have drunken birds. They are happy drunks though. they sing a lot louder and seem very animated until they fall asleep.Smiley4
