Internet out for a very Canadian reason

The internet was out in some remote northern BC town for a very Canadian reason. Beavers chewed the cables. They dug down 3 feet and chewed through the conduit protecting the cables and then they  chewed the cables. They brought down internet and cell phone service and everything. They are using some of the materials in their new dam.

Our national animal is a bit destructive. They can chew through anything. Also they can dam anything.

A beaver family actually dammed one side of the Bow River in Calgary.
Nothing stops them. They just do what they want. They even have the skills to do it.

Of course a beaver at the Timmies Drive Through window is the ultimate Canadian experience.
