Building an "elevator" for a 20 year old cat

An enterprising young man has applied his creativity to his elderly cat's problems with stairs. He built the cat and elevator. He even made it safe and nicely painted.
In the test run the cat looks quite happy with the elevator. He rides down and he rides up and seems happy with the experience.

The whole thing is very clever. He uses simple materials and he makes them work.
It is  unbelievable what people will do for their pets. If there is a problem they find a way to overcome it. The cat can't do stairs, so build an elevator.
The cat really does look fine with the experience. I wonder what other ideas he will come up with for his cat.
