Reptiles saved from fire
#1
Once again fire fighters are heroes. A portable classroom housing reptiles caught fire. There were some loses, but many animals were saved.

Reptiles are so vulnerable in a fire. They can't bark or call for help. They really need us to look after them. I have to really respect the fire fighters who are unfamiliar with reptiles yet still helped to save them.

What a tragedy! Poor little things. Yes they wouldn't make any noise, and completely depend on us to be vigilant. Good work on the part of the firefighters -again!

It is great when people get together after a thing like this, and help out all they can. There are some very good people in the world.

I imagine a lot of the reptile community would be able to take the snakes(and other reptiles) temporarily. Usually there are lots of second hand tanks and supplies floating around that could be donated.
It is wonderful how well people respond to an emergency. It is sad that the emergency happened in the first place.Smiley19
