Pickles the dog found the stolen FIFA cup in 1966

It seems the FIFA Cup has an interesting history. It was stolen in 1966. Attempts were made to pay ransom and get it back. It didn't work and no one had any idea where the cup was. Then along came Pickles. Pickles was out for a walk with his owner. When they stopped, Pickles sniffed out a package under a car. The package turned out to be the missing trophy. Later in the year England won the cup and the cup was there to hand to them.

Good for Pickles. Winning without a trophy would not be quite the right thing.
