Stray kitten trapped in packaging, so the company redesigned its packaging.

A tiny kitten was spotted with the ring from packaging caught around its body. As the kitten was growing, the ring was cutting deeper into its body.
Itty Bitty Kitty City rescued the kitten and had their vet remove the ring. They recognized what company made the packaging and wrote to advise them.

The response was surprising. The company was very concerned, and they sent a donation to cover the kitten's surgery. They also set out to redesign their packaging so that no other animal could be hurt by their product.
The new packaging is safer for animals and safer for the environment.

Munchkin Inc. went way beyond anything that was asked of them. Once they realized the danger from their packaging, they totally changed it.
They were truly distressed that a kitten was hurt by their product. If only other companies would respond in the same way, the world would be safer for animals.
