Medical team rushes to save newborn Gorilla

A Gorilla at the Mogo Wildlife Park gave birth and there were some complications. The father got involved and took the baby from the mother. The baby ended up with pneumonia and a team of human medical specialists were called in to help. Gorilla babies and human babies are very similar. They did what they would do for any baby in trouble. They little guy has responded to treatment and is back with his mother. Both are doing well.

Gorilla babies are so cute, and it is good that things turned out okay.  Someday he will be a great big silverback and it will be hard to believe that he was ever so small or that he was so sick. The medical team will always know that they saved a very special life.
