Stray dogs in Mumbai to get reflective collars

Planet for Plants and Animals, an online forum, along with college students, has launched a drive to put reflective collars on stray dogs. The collars will make the dogs visible at night and prevent accidents. They hope to put collars on 2000 dogs.
There is a hope this can spread to the rest of India.

This is a good idea. They are not able to rescue all 2000 strays, but they can make them safer. Maybe a dog with a collar will not seem like such a stray and more people will be willing to rescue them. For now, at least they will be safer.
