Woman stops for bird crying by a storm drain.
#1
A woman diving along saw a bird crying by a storm drain. She was a Masked Lapwing or Plover. The woman stopped even though she was busy. Good thing she did. When she checked, a baby bird had fallen into the drain and the mother was unable to rescue it.
She got busy and opened the grate and rescued the baby. Then she warmed it in her car. As soon as it was fine, she placed it where the mother could go to it.
The picture of the reunion is so sweet.

Mama bird was just begging someone to help. How fortunate the person who came along was willing to help and able to help.
She knew how to handle the storm drain. Seeing mom reunited with her baby was worth the whole effort.
I know people don't always do the right thing, but when we do it is something very right.

I guessed what had happened by the title! Baby birds do, sadly, sometimes fall down chimneys or drainpipes.

Blessings to the dear lady who saved the baby bird!

It was kind of her to stop. The mother couldn't have rescued her baby. Storm drains and chimneys are very dangerous for little birds.
