Pets seized from Happy Doggie Daycare

Happy Doggie Daycare is in south Edmonton. The City of Edmonton Animal Control seized 4 cats and 17 dogs. They were considered to be is distress.
The issues were space, ventilation, shelter and adequate food and water. The business closed its doors at the time, but now it has permanently closed the business.

Someone must have reported the doggie daycare. People who had dogs there for the day took their dogs home that day. Some of the animals were boarding and their animal are being cared for by Animal Control. They have not been able to reach all the owners.

Can you imagine what it would be like to read in the news that the place where you left your pet was just raided. It would be terrifying.
I hope they can fine all the owners.

I wonder how bad things were? You would think people would be aware of the conditions where they leave their pets.
Maybe it was fine and then got bad.
