Apes like to spin
#1
It has been observed that various species of apes like to spin the way human children like to spin.
This has mostly been observed in captive animals, but it has also been observed in wild apes.
Like humans they seem to think it is fun. They end up dizzy afterwards, but they will still do it again.
The researcher is planning to study pandas and grizzlies too. They have been observed spinning.

I have actually seen a panda doing summersaults in the snow. He was clearly having fun.
If primates enjoy spinning so much we should give them playgrounds with merry-go-rounds and things like that.
They would probably like a lot of regular children's toys. It would be interesting to see what they would do.
