Hi fellow animal lovers!
A bit random question, I'm new here, not even sure if I am posting in the right place.
But I always wish there was something I could do for the poor street dogs (and other animals) in certain countries, sometimes wounded or starving.
I was wondering if it would be possible to create an app that allows people, travelers, tourists or locals, to easily report the location of an animal in need, and that the location is send to a nearby animal rescue center, who can then hopefully take action and help the animal.
It would take a lot of work I expect to develop such an app, to find rescue centers for all kind of locations and ask their permission.
But I am sure that there are a lot of people out there like me, who feel terrible seeing animals in need and would like to have the option to report them somewhere, to know that somebody will pick them up to take care of them.
Does any of you have experience with animal rescues and has any idea if this might work?
