Thai Zoo breeds endangered vultures for the first time.
#1
A Thai Zoo has successfully bred Asian King Vultures for the first time.
They have been trying for years to increase the numbers of these birds. The hope is to one day release them to the wild.
They are being very careful to raise them without imprinting them on humans.

It worked for the California Condors. They went from almost extinct to  condors flying wild in the California sky.
Sometimes human intervention is necessary to save a species, when humans have caused the species to decline in the first place.
I hope some day to be posting an article about Asian King Vultures being released to a sanctuary where they can live wild.
