Amazon cattle farmers turned conservationists

A family of cattle breeders has turned their ranch back into a jungle. They started by planting native trees and nature took over from there. Wildlife has returned. The soil improved and the water improved. The family sold their cattle and now run a nature reserve. They rescue wildlife that has been taken as pets or for sale. Many animals can be returned to the wild. Sadly some cannot survive in the wild any more. They are housed in enclosures are the reserve.

This is an amazing story of what one family can do. Bringing back even one part of the jungle has a positive impact on the whole area. 
The regrown jungle could spread and create more jungle. The part that is regrown is an oasis of life for the plants and animals of the area.
