Zoos ask visitors to stop showing videos to the gorillas
#1
For some reason people have started showing  zoo gorillas videos on their phones. Toronto Zoo has put up a sign asking visitors to refrain from showing videos to the gorillas. Nassir, who is now a teenage gorilla, is getting hocked on screen time. The zoo does let the gorillas watch videos, like nature documentaries. They enjoy watching them. When random people show videos, there is no control over what the gorillas are seeing or the effect that it might have on them.
A zoo in Chicago has put up barriers so people cannot get close enough to show the gorillas their phones.

Why is it that people have to spoil things. We can now see zoo animals face to face with just glass between us. Why  bring out your phone to show videos.
Isn't seeing a gorilla interesting enough.

What is it with showing videos on phones anyhow. People are always wanting to show me some video on their phone. It is frequently something I do not want to see. I can't imagine what they are showing Nassir.
